JEFFMARK WATERCOLOUR COURSE
Aquarelle, or more affectionately known as the water colour, is a versatile painting method utilizing pigments suspended in a water-based solution. The history of water colour dates back to the 1750s from a British water colour tradition.
Artists of the mediavel times illustrated vellum pages of hand-written books with vibrant hues of the water colour. The beauty of the translucence in watercolour, unlike any other mediums, allows one to just ‘let the paint flow’ and the magical effects of water colour will reveal itself.

When we make water colour a sanctuary of our own, we will have the perfect nook to escape to, whether to release some steam or to express that sporadic flare of inspiration.
Water colours has its way of making the artist to pause and observe before transforming all that visual beauty on paper. While layers and layers of practicality throughout adulthood may have aid our survival but it has suppressed the potential of our own creativity as adults. It is all the more important that we reconnect ourselves to this potential and create meaning in life again.

CERTIFICATE IN WATERCOLOUR PAINTING

The module is important for a beginner to master the way to control water flow on paper and master the colour mixing skill. The learner has the chance to experience the way to paint still life, landscape and human portrait in a professional way.

– 600 Gross Learning Hours
The module is important for a beginner to master the basic skill in Watercolour Painting. The learner will have the chance to experience a mixed media effect and also the way to paint fauna, floral in different art style. Last but not least, the learner will guide to form own symbol and style to be a professional artist.

With 20 years of teaching experiences in art education, Jeff has a career record as the Art Director of MY Art Studio and founder of Jeffmark Art Academy. During the span of his career, he had trained over 300 art principals and art tutors from all around Malaysia.
LIVIANA IVY
Upon graduating with a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture, Nottingham Trent UK, Ivy expanded her love for art through art education and has since garnered 12 years of leadership in art education as Art Director of MY Art Studio branches in the Klang Valley.

EXCITING CLASS
I started watercolour painting at Jeffmark Academy from 2016 and I have learnt a lot.
